Garden Planning with Seed Saving in Mind

Jadyne Reichner of Oatsplanter Seeds will present about how to garden with a seed saving mindset.  She will cover the basics of seed saving:  planning your garden, the genetics behind seed production, choosing the best seed to save, and how to harvest, clean and store seeds.  

 

About Jadyne Reichner:

Jadyne Reichner followed 25 years of teaching Biology in Sequim, Washington with several other careers: creating Purple Haze Lavender Farm, working for WSU Jefferson County Extension, serving on the board and working for Organic Seed Alliance.  It was her work at OSA that deepened her passion for seeds.  Since 2010, she has continued her seed work at Oatsplanter Farm in Port Townsend.
